I was terminated from a job at a bar. It’s been several months and I haven’t received my last paycheck – no call/text to pick it up or anything in the mail.
It’s only a few hundred bucks but still. Life is hard. It’s considered wage theft to not give out the final paycheck.
Is it possible to sue for wage theft and get more than my final paycheck? Is it worth a law firm’s time to take a a percentage of a settlement for something like this or should I just tell my employer imma take legal action if I don’t have my last paycheck?
