New boss talking about quiet quitting

For context, I (32 F) have been with this company for close to 11months and lost 2 bosses already. We had no direct manager for almost 6 months. The new boss joined 2 weeks ago and I haven’t had a formal 1:1 with him but not impressed with the other meetings he’s been a part of… most of the times it’s just him rambling on for 10-15min about his old company or overall nonsense. To say I was shaking in my chair is an understatement. 1. I am wondering how this guy will react to me taking my PTO 2. Although I get very good feedback from my groups on my work and results, I make that happen within my 8hr shifts (not a single minute extra is spent) but will the new guy see this or will he be the one that the more you give… the more he’ll demand?

I left my last job for this type of stress and burnout (he comes from the last company I worked for) and I’m afraid he’s bringing those old habits to the new place… my husband says to bring it up with his sup or even HR…. Kinda lost on how to approach this. Any suggestions?
