The new dev is still in college and constantly asking programming questions.
A little background… I interviewed for the job and job an “Integration Specialist” position. Basically it's data entry and limited QA. I have 2 year of software engineering experience, but not in C#. My experience is in C++, Python, and JS. I learned the basics of C# in a day for the interview. The new dev has 0 professional software experience.
Today the new dev called the senior dev and asked if there is a difference between Java and JavaScript. Then mentioned how he is avoiding taking a C++ class because he's heard it's difficult.
