So I had to take a job that was 20k less than what I was making because my old employer was mad at me quitting and seems to have successfully blocked me out of my industry in the area. So after over a month of looking after he cost me a job that would have furthered my career, now I have to take a job at Pizza Hut as manager. The pay sucks, but I need an income. Anyways, I went ahead and accepted their offer after a week. Now they can't seem to even get their on boarding right and the link they keep sending me is a dead link.
I'm just ranting because I'm being forced to work for a shitty company because I've ran out of savings and need to support my family somehow and now I can't even start because they can't get their shit together. I gave plasma for the first time in a decade today because I'm so desperate for money.
I'm still shocked at the way my old employer was able to just shut me out of the auto repair industry. Also pissed because I made him $1.2 million last year when previous years were around $700-800k, and gave him way longer than the standard 2 week notice and this is my thanks. Fuck the owner class.
