So, yesterday I changed my LinkedIn status from ''not open for work'', to +''open for work'' (only recruiters). Other friends from reddit mentioned that the best way to get a new job is, to be open for a new job if your current job is very good.
My current job is very nice. Therefore I'm following the advise from reddit friends here. Because I want to grow. After changing my LinkedIn status I've already received some messages from recruiters. One of the job is quite interesting. I told the recruiter to send the details to my email.
So he sent the details (only job-related info, no salary range or other benefits) to me. He mentions that if I'm interested for a discussion that he would like to receive my CV + salary expectations.I can send my CV (even though it's a copy of my Linkedin), but what is the best way to proceed with the salary expectation answer?
If I change the job, it should be a good upgrade (because my current is good). I also have some possibilities to promote within 1-1,5 year.
There are some negotiation tactics written here that got me thinking: https://haseebq.com/how-not-to-bomb-your-offer-negotiation/however that's more applicable to when you are in the stage of negotiation. I'm currently in the very early phase.
Any tips?
