I will try to make it short.
I started at this kitchen as a chef couple of months ago, this is a Big company in Europe, I mean it where full of CEO and manager or the manager etc at the opening.
I was told that my duties were just at the kitchen and part time as I asked.
Ok short story, Now I am a chef and Dishwasher ( together), the supervisor quit One month ago, no one replace him. Other colleges quit, now whe are 3 people. The kitchen never close.
I got full time, even I asked for part time, I am chef and Dishwasher, and the other college is taking the job not serious at all, every time I come after some days to the kitchen there's mold on the food, no dressings ready. He's basically not doing nothing.
My question is what would you do at this situation, I am divided, because is good money, but I feel they are cheating and being cheap not hiring more staff.
Often the place is not crowded, but easily gets crowded and busy when you're alone at the kitchen cooking.
Edit: and this lack of management makes me really stressed. I feel really responsable, more than I should…
