Have a manager at work that makes it a point to try and throw me under the bus in front of all the other managers instead of just contacting me to ask about what hinge at any other time. Literally waits hours even days to bring up concerns and questions, most of which have already been answered through conversations with other colleagues (noted in the e-mail I sent), just to bring them up in the meeting. Not only that but these are relatively small things with low priority in the big picture but the implication and tone is that “you’re not doing your job”. I’ve brought it up and discussed it three times with the manager doing it, my manager, and even escalated it higher to finally get “heard”, last escalation was 1 month ago, previous discussions were took place over the 9 months prior to that. This continued to happen the whole time to present, so more recently I gave her the reply in e-mail and cc’d my manager so it wasn’t “hear/say” on whether I was looking into it and getting back to her (doing my job). The response I got from my manager was “We will discuss this in person. Do not discuss this anymore in e-mail” the only thing I can think is they don’t want record of it. They act like it’s never been discussed every it’s come up. What’s your take on this??
