As the title states, I was recently laid off after 4 months with a relatively small company for “not picking up the job”. However! This company doesn't provide any actual training (hardware manuals, training videos, mock setups, etc) at all. You are simply expected to learn everything by watching your superior. These superiors would prefer to just work alone because they know everything and the fastest way to do it, so there is little to no room (without being their chosen favorite child) to learn this job.
Is there anything I could do about this? To top it all off, the whole company has a “holier than thou” attitude for being blue collar work.
