My mother has been looking for work for almost a year now. She is fully vaccinated but she is almost 60 and doesn't have her vaccine records from when she grew up in europe and has no idea how to get them. She didn't finish high-school because she got pregnant with my brother but she took college classes here in America.
She almost got hired as a receptionist (a couple times) but she couldn't give them a diploma or her old (from childhood) vaccine record, but she has her covid card. I've never in my life had anyone ask for a high-school diploma from me and I've worked in direct patient care, nor have they asked for my past vaccines, just my covid/tdap Is this a normal thing??? She's had successful jobs for years and never run into this issue. I really wanna help her but this is a huge barrier. I just can't believe she's been turned down for not having her diploma for multiple jobs that she has experience in!!!
