I cannot believe that just because someone's work doesn't generate the salary of a tech CEO it isn't a success by some culture's standards. What happened to the value of bringing people joy? Artistic value? Intellectual value? General contributions to humanity? I'm honestly crying. This is my first day posting on Reddit after browsing a lot of these communities for months now. I can't hold it in anymore
