Not allowed to work OT

Good morning, i have a situation at work going on and I’m not sure what to do, or if there’s anything i can do. I recently moved to Texas and got hired on at this company about a month ago. The way it works here is everyone is given a work phone to keep track of how much work they produce and proof that the work was done. I work in a rail yard and when the containers come off the trains, they get put on trailers and before the trailers deliver the containers they come to me if anything is wrong with the trailers. So if a tire is flat or a light is not working i fix it to get them back on the road. Well my situation is that when i was hired on i was told once i get my phone and if i can bill…

Well my situation is that when i was hired on i was told once i get my phone and if i can bill my required amount of hours then i can work as much as i want said my supervisor . Well i got my phone last Saturday so instead of doing my regular 8 hours i started doing 10 hours starting Monday. I came to work 2 hours extra those days and after my shift yesterday i got called to the supervisors office and they told me corporate called and said there was a problem. Since im a new hire, I’m not allowed to work OT. Then my boss went on to say that he cant let me come early and pull longer shifts since it will look like “white privilege”. Me and my supervisor are white, there’s 3 black people, and the rest are Mexican. The thing is I actually want to work and I bill more time needed to even work a 10 hour shift so I don’t see what the problem is. They want to see how i do this week and they said they would review how i do and let me know next week if i can work overtime. On top of that, they already got me scheduled 8 hours a day 6 days a week which will put me in OT so I’m just super confused at this point. They always seem to say something one day and the next the totally act like we didn’t have the conversation the day before. Any advice on what i should do?
