Not eligible for a raise, but they might do it out of kindness [Long]

Hi guys, I joined the sub recently after noticing some sketchy things about my work, that I simply overlooked due to the great respect I had for my boss. Hi guys,

I joined the sub recently after noticing some sketchy things about my work, that I simply overlooked due to the great respect I had for my boss.

Well, I have been with my job for over 3 years now and I have not once been called to a formal review meeting, which they have done with all other coworkers.

I have consistently asked their feedback about my work and I have always been told it's all ok and to continue to work.

So I called an official meeting with them.

Where to start: firstly, my boss met with me at a donut shop and proceeded to eat while we were having the formal meeting.
They said that I was not technically eligible for a raise, because for a couple of months I had not met my monthly quota (when there was no quota to meet due to lack of work) and that apparently, the quality of my work was lacking. The lacking aspect was something I had never actually been made aware of, despite the numerous times I had request a proper review of my job in order to improve.

According to them, this had been the brief report of the office manager (OM), when the office manager is well aware of the back to back weeks I have worked overtime, on weekends and even late at night because she was too tired and I was “the only one to turn to”. My boss' response: “You could have just said no”.

I have all of the “No” in text, followed by my OM's insistence that I had to do it because there was no other way.

When the boss realized that they did not have any proper grounds on this nonsense they were spewing, they kept coming up with other excuses and apparently, by the end, it wasn't actually the OM that had reported my flaws, but the boss had seen my work briefly and had come to the conclusion of it being lacking. I asked why had they not notified the OM, or called me in to tell me this, since apparently it was such a major and obvious flaw, and they switched immediately to “I have not actually talked properly to the OM and Reviewer of your team, which I will do soon and then come back to you. However, we absolutely will consider your pay since you have been with us for so long”.

I am beyond upset, offended and demoralized. I have worked so so hard and have covered aspects that I had absolutely no reason to, just to help out.

I will call a meeting with the OM tomorrow and I will honestly ask her what the hell is going on here. Just so she knows that the boss threw her under the bus with no issue, and that if it was true that the OM had reported what the boss claimed, then I want an explanation for it.

I sincerely considered just screenshoting every time I have worked late/weekends, as well as my monthly quota report and just e-mailing it to my entire office, including coworkers, along with my notice of quitting.

Thanks for reading!
