So in Australia when you reach 10 years at the same company (actually, 7 I found out…) you're entitled to take roughly 8.6 weeks of paid leave. I went overseas on extended leave and they're now saying I'm not eligible. I signed nothing from HR saying I had quit/terminated my employment. But after 4 months of them saying they'd “look into it” they FINALLY did a few weeks ago and said Yes all good. Now they're saying No, not eligible. Apparently they said I was eligible in 2018 but no one told me that either. Wondering if it's worth contacting Fair Work Australia?
