Throwaway for obvious reasons.
My coworker told me that bathroom breaks count as my break and any time I take in the bathroom is taken off my break. I don’t think this is very fair, because I sometimes use a bathroom break as a way to collect myself when overwhelmed due to my anxiety [disorder] I don’t know how to bring this up to my boss, because I’m scared he’ll think I’m making it up for attention. I’m going to be leaving this job when I find a new one, but I’m becoming more and more jaded towards this job as time goes on and that day I felt especially angry at my situation. I didn’t show it, because I remain professional at work. I was told I don’t get a whole fifteen minute break that day because I “took a bathroom break” when I hadn’t taken one that day. I just want to quit, this rule is so unfair to those of us who need those quiet moments out back to pull ourselves together on a particularly stressful day. I don’t know what to do and I need help
