Not getting breaks My jobs manual labour and I get payed 21/hour (CAD I’m in Ontario). I’m new to my job and in the probation period where they can cut me for any reason. I’ve never had a lunch break or any 15 minute breaks in the month I’ve been working here. So I don’t get any breaks then they DEDUCT me half hours pay if I work under 12 hours or DEDUCT me an hours pay if I work 12 or more hours which is what I usually do. I talked to my boss about it and he knows we don’t take any breaks and was very dismissive about it “legally we have to do it” “can’t you eat in the truck”. Is being driven from job site to job site count as a break? I’m really pissed worked 12.5 hours today but would’ve made same amount if I just clocked out before 12 hours.

What can I do about this?
