My step daughters work enacted a new policy that they must clock in at 8:50am but they won't start getting paid until 9. They also have job duties that must be performed off the clock because there is not sufficient time to do them during the day. ( They are watching small children and are required to do case notes but there is no opportunity because they are watching the children ) anyone know if this is legit? We are in Washington state.
