So, I work with kids in school. I'm like a special needs teaching assistant. I've only been at my school for 2 terms, and in that time I had a 1-1 child dumped on me (she is a kid with extreme behavioural issues). As no one else wanted her, she stopped responding to other adults and would be rude to them.
She's now been transferred to a specialist unit and the other members on my team + the headteacher had a meeting, without inviting me and changed everything about how we work, taking credit for a load of ideas I came up with. They “took away” some of the activities that I initiated and gave them to a different member of staff, dumped another child no one else wants on me, and are now getting all the praise for “their ideas.” I'm so fed up with it all and just trying to find a reason not to leave…
