Not paid because of “attitude”.

I worked for a “small business” under the table, and it was $500 flat for what was supposed to be three days of work. They wanted me to work two additional days, but never communicated that to me. In fact, they didn't communicate at all. I made a comment after working my eight hours that “there wasn't anything left to do” and a women(who I didn't even know was my boss) said “I can find something for you.” I replied, “no thank you” – and this is what led to them NOT paying me anything at all. No, I just would like to leave at the time I was originally scheduled. It's really fucking stupid too because I flew to another city for this fucking job and did labor that hurt my wrists for 24 hours at the very least (meticilous taking things apart with small tools type shit). I might be a “bad worker”, but at least fucking pay me. Of course, I have absolutely no legal standing because it was under the table.

Small businesses are not immune to being exploitative.
