My employer shorted me out of 2 days pay. The company is called Hawthorne Management Company and were acquired by William Douglas Management. They did this to everyone at the company. They claim they could us an “advance” if needed, but basically we aren't being paid for 2 of the days worked. Is this legal? They're located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Is this something the NC National Labor Relations Board could deal with?
This is ridiculous. It's not that hard to pay people for the hours they work.
