Maybe this is not the right subreddit to post this but I want to rant a little :')
I am job hunting and and I am so frustrated rn.
I am like always getting rejected. Sometimes I don't know even why bcs I getted ghosted so there is no way to know :')
And then this last one, that bcs I am from Latin America they can't continue with the process of selection… Like seriously? You say you like my portfolio and are in urgent need of ppl, but oh no I am not making contracts with ppl outside of Europe. Then why do you put that you don't discriminate by sex, religion and NATIONALITY on your job post? Just to be a goody two shoes in todays society?
I am so tired of this… And then old people says that the young generation doesnt want to work. Sure, I don't find shit in my country and if I find it would be like 300 dollars a month bcs hey welcome to Latin America 🙂 and no, with only just that you can't live here, it is not so cheap, like you can only pay rent with that. Then forget about eatting or your other needs.
Well, I am still going to fight it 'cause I want to get the fuck out of here, maybe to a country where the minimum salary gets me to rent and eat xD
Also, idiot question, should I answer to the rejection emails or no? Like, maybe I ghosted some bcs got a little furious about getting ghosted and also I think they don't give a shit so… But well maybe is worth it idk, I feel so unprepeared for this shit, school should have a class called “getting your first job” or smth like that seriously…
