I'll try to keep this short. Worked for a convenience store by my home about a year ago, left because management was horrible but pay was ok. Recently the store sold, and new manager who knew I knew the job asked me to come back. I went through the application process etc and was told id get a call back. A few days later they call and offer me 20hrs a week at 10/HR which is 3.00 less an hour than I was making there before, and so i know the others there still make that. Here's the kicker though, they wanted me to take the 20 hours and cut a guy making more to 20 hours! So he's trying to save that 3 dollars an hour smh. I obviously laughed and told them no way, for 1 not worth my time, who can live off that?! And 2 that poor guy they're trying to push out to save money. Sad part is all the old employees that make that extra will be replaced slowly too.
