Nothing can be fixed until we can guarantee basic goods and services for all people (with wages that match)

The home across from my family is selling for 8 million. The mean to buy a home in my county is 1.7 million. I will be a forever renter here. Meanwhile, the best the local government can do to help the lower class, is to offer a brand new variety of mental health services and a minimum wage ordinance of $18 by 2026. Plus job training resources – but that doesn’t do anything to protect people from getting exploited. I can’t be more furious and insulted from my local government. They are causing inequality to spread and more ordinary people to suffer.
