Now I see why the substitute teacher roster can’t find anyone to fill-in for elementary schools… Administrators won’t allow anyone to get experience!

I was told to go home after 1 hour today on my second day as a substitute teacher! I couldn't recall for the life of me how I'd expect K-5er would act. I was up for the challenge of trying! All the people told me going into the job to ask the teachers for help, and I did exactly that. So they split the classroom ups and I attentively observed. The full-timer had to call on each one to “stop doing that” and at the same time try to teach the lesson. So the principal decided to slit the classes up again because “I don't know how to teach and what we're doing defeats the purpose of having a substitute.” Just like any other employer, they feel they can be choosers in a begger's job market! You can't say “nobOdY wanTs To wOrk anYmoRe” when you deny them the will…
