Now that the ruling billionaires/kleptocrats know that people know they’re an abomination and should not exist, the gun control movement will have fresh legs and a corporate propaganda tailwind with every mass shooting

Based on 2020 data, there are less than 50,000 gun deaths in the US every year total (54% of which are suicide). Compare that to ~68,000 deaths annually and -$450 Billion dollars from lack of universal healthcare: https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(19)33019-3/fulltext I'm pro basic gun control (e.g., background checks), but it's helpful to be aware of why the push for gun control now seems to have that bit of urgency that it didn't for prior mass shootings. Only because *their* lives and the lives of *their* masters are threatened, are they willing to even consider any action on gun control. It doesn't matter to the ruling capitalists/kleptocrats how many *other people's* kids are killed. Power never concedes without a demand.
