So when I interviewed for the job I'm at, I started at a fair hourly rate. Was given the impression it would be around 40 hours. I have been here for about a month and haven't had over 20 hours. No big deal. I cut out anything I didn't need like eating out, I even quit smoking.
So they have been saying how they were going to up my hours the whole time and I didn't even ask them or bug them about it. Just showed up and did my thing and applied for other jobs in off time. So my manager finally offers me 40+ hours but the extra hours are a different position than mine and they want to pay me $2 less for the hours I do during the new position. I said I'd think about it but I'm not taking that shitty deal.
They told me the budget for my job is double what I make a month when I was in the interview. I get the job done in 3 hours when it should take around 8. No big deal it isn't difficult. I have an Interview tomorrow for another job offering 40+ hours a week with a $2 raise from what I make now. After my interview I'm going to say I need a raise to match it or I have to resign without notice
