Hey friends I just started a job that advertised the pay at $16 an hour and now my contract says 14.50 an hour. I’m going in for the first day of (paid) training and I’m going to ask my boss. He seemed very adamant about getting me paid and treated well as an employee, and he wasn’t against talking about compensation during the interview, so I’m hoping he’s honest with me and this is just the “training wage” or something. I’m tired of this happening, is this shit legal?
