Office jobs are a joke

I have had my current job for almost six years now and in that time things have gone downhill rapidly. The only saving grace was between March 2020 and the summer of 2021 I was allowed to work from home full time. During that time I felt like I got my life back. Bosses were not able to micromanage every second of my day, no long commute, and I was more productive exceeding what I would get done in the office. It allowed me to dedicate more time to getting healthy mentally and physically. However, now since being forced back into the office my outlook is bleak again. Management refuses to allow any kind of work from home even when we are sick they would rather us come in and get everyone sick or force us to burn a vacation day. My company believes every week should have 40 hours…

My company believes every week should have 40 hours at least if you miss any time you are lazy period. Needless to say all the progress I made on myself during the pandemic is gone now and I feel trapped in this shitty existence.
