So I work at a Hampton Inn and Suites and the GM tells us a lot that if we cost the hotel money, such as not getting a valid card or giving a rate we aren’t supposed to, that they will take it out of our paychecks which can be quite a bit of money. I’m in Georgia in the US and I can’t find anything about it pertaining to law. I haven’t done anything yet to get my check garnished but I know someone who I work with who has. Is this legal at all?
