Okay, so today I had to pay for a client who forgot to pay for his gas.

There are only two options – I didn't ask him whether he has tanked, and he didn't mention it because he forgot about that too, or he just straight up lied. In both cases I should not be the one to pay, but I was forced either way, because in other case most probably I would be out of job without pay and/or the cost of gas would have been split evenly among my coworkers. It's so fucking wrong. I'm not protected by worker law, I signed contract, but it's different. I live outside of the US, and I am not sure whether there is any equivalent to that there.
