second to last day on my old job I had a family emergency and had to run home, all was quickly fine so I worked remotely the couple remaining hours of the day, having only told a coworker. I get an alert that all my creds are pulled at the end of the day, i have no communication of any kind. show up next day with laptop to turn it in, no explanation, nothing. I left with notice and gratitude, nothing.

im still antiwork but, when there is work, it should always have that level of humanity to it. idk, I feel like maybe if we hadnt lost this maybe we wouldn't be trying to burn the motherfucker down.
