Older shipment delivery guy at the old job once said “What happened to the good old days when nobody cared about money and we were happy with pizza as incentive?”

This was at my previous retail job. These two boomers would come by once every week to drop off boxes of products at our store. One day they heard about a “Sales Competition” where the “Top Prize” was 100$. As soon as they saw the notice in the backroom one of the boomer rolled his eyes at it and asked us “You kids are all about money now aren’t you? Nobody wants to hustle like us anymore huh? What happened to the good old days when nobody cared about money and we were happy with pizza as incentive?” To which all of us on the job rolled are eyes at him and I said “We can buy our own pizza but we can’t pay our rent with a pizza” Just remembered this again and thought i’d share..
