You go back in time in the U.S. and university was affordable, jobs with just a high-school diploma paid well enough to afford to pay a mortgage, car, and support a family. And things were generally affordable. Correct me if I’m wrong but the wages that an average worker receives compared to what it actually affords you seems practically like a cyclic slave game.
