Antiwork

Once you have stated your intention to end your employment at a business and have defined how much longer you will be working there, deflect or just ignore any and all intrusive questions about what will happen in your life after your last day.

One of the biggest challenges you may face after giving your notice will be when an overbearing manager tries to reassert themselves as having power over you. You never have to answer the “where are you going next” question if you have enough good ones of your own and always ask them if they'd be willing to put their answers in an email.

Always remember that it is a best practice to only talk about work related topics at work whether you are talking to people of equal employment status or those above you in the hierarchy. Bosses never have your best interests in mind and your co-workers may use whatever you share to curry favor with those in power.
