Antiwork

One of the main BS selling points of capitalism is “no one will work if their basic needs are met”

They say no one will work if their basic needs/rights like food, education, shelter, healthcare etc are met but what we’re all seeing with the teacher’s strikes in Ontario and “labour shortages” is that no one will work if their basic needs aren’t met either. It goes both ways. People are leaving industries that underpay, going on strike over pay and are not going to be in working condition if they don’t have their needs met which gives them a platform to be able to work. Without paying living wages or providing people with their basic needs, they won’t work.
