Ongoing Glassdoor Review Battle w/ Former Employer

So as the title says, I've had an ongoing battle with my former employer over my Glassdoor review for them. When I quit after months of micromanaging, abusive managing, and general toxicity, I took a few months off before starting my job search. In that time, I decided, “hey, I should go write them the poor review they deserve so other people know not to work there”. I wrote my one-star review on Glassdoor, wishing it could be a zero, and thought that was that. But it was only the beginning. They kept getting my review removed for violating community guidelines–specifically, “mentioning someone specific”. Which, sure, I guess saying “COO” was specific. But when I changed it to “upper management” they had it removed again, same reason. The same thing happened with “management” and even more general terms that I tried but can't remember now. Basically, for months, actual months,…

Basically, for months, actual months, every time they'd get the review removed, I would update it & get it re-posted to their Glassdoor page.

And every time it did, a new, definitely fake 5-star review full of corporate synergy buzzwords would appear the same day.

I knew they were obsessed with their internet self-image, but didn't realize the extent.

So I decided turnabout was fair play. After whittling my review down until finally, now, it pretty much just reads as “most of these reviews are fake, don't work here, I wish I could tell you more specifics but my review keeps getting removed”, I decided to check just how much of their crap is fake.

Oh boy.

Not only are their Glassdoor reviews largely fake, but so are their reviews on Indeed and Google. Google actually has the HR Manager, Recruiter, IT Manager, and several Operations Managers' names listed with their five-star reviews, so that made reporting them easy.

The real issue is that, while all of these platforms have rules about conflict of interest reviews, I can't seem to get any of the reports/removals to stick. Every time one gets taken down, it's back up the next time I look–with an extra two or three to boost their rating ever higher.

TLDR: Is there a better method for getting fake reviews pulled, preferably permanently? New employees don't deserve to be lied to about this shithole, and honestly, their clients deserve to know the truth, too.
