Our CEO wants to screw us over more

So our CEO likes to buy random products from overseas and currently he has an over stock of a specific product. So to be “nice” he is advertising these products at a special discounted price for employees, implying he’s selling it at the same cost he spent. However, I work in supply chain so I am aware of the cost, negotiations, shipping costs, etc for this product. He’s selling it to employees with an over $200 profit. He doesn’t have to sell us this product and he doesn’t have to give us a discount, but it’s greatly frustrating that he’s trying to make his employees think they’re getting a stellar deal when instead they’re getting screwed. (The same product can be found on Amazon for the same price plus warranty and bonus features). A few of us have been discretely trying to inform our fellow coworkers, but I sadly have…

A few of us have been discretely trying to inform our fellow coworkers, but I sadly have a feeling a few employees have already spent their hard earned cash on an overpriced and (seemingly per email communications I’m cc’ed on) faulty product. 🙁
