Our store just got a parking violation warning

I work in a mall. Employee parking is crazy limited, and customers consistently park in employee designated areas. Our store—and all stores in the area—got a blanket warning that we, the employees, will face violations and fines if we don’t park in our designated areas. Areas that, generally, are a significant trek and significantly more unsafe for closing shift employees. Why is this happening? Because customers matter more than employees. To quote “to improve customer’s shopping experiences, we want to ensure prime parking is available for them.” Employees that violate this will face legal consequences. Employees have half the basement and part of the roof. Customers have three floors. Our store isn’t fighting this. Fuck this capitalist society. Fuck this bullshit.
