Overheard an interview at a coffee shop

I was doing some work at a coffee shop and the owners were interviewing a man (maybe 20s?) at the table behind me for a closing position. They were asking standard questions about his life and such and why he wants to work there. He was honest and said his current job didn't offer enough hours/wasn't paying well enough to allow him to fully support his daughter. The owners proceeded to say they would expect his full time commitment even though they are only open 6am-3p everyday. They followed that with complaints that the training schedule (which started at 5am and ran 6 days a week??) would interfere with his current overnight work. When the interviewee offered to make it work and move his schedule for a little while to accommodate the training and they hit him with “this job requires 4 months of training and onboarding” and that they…

When they interview ended and the guys left they proceeded to talk shit about him and how he was looking to work 2 jobs. Absolute trash.
