I just found out about this recently. Apparently there is an entire group of people so brainwashed by the capitalist patriarchy that they’ve actually committed themselves to working as many hours as possible to feed their addiction to work.
Some of them have even had their lives totally destroyed because of their work focused way of life.
Such a shame.
It makes me feel bad for some people whose whole identity is wrapped up in their jobs. Just wasting away. Giving up their best years to be taken advantage of by employers who don’t care one bit…
