Pleasant surprise

Instead of our usual yearly 5% raise, the company gave us all a 16% raise to keep the company competitive and beat the inflation rate. So at least for this year I expect we will have excellent employee retention

“Watch your f***ing attitude”

Today I found out the coworker I have been helping with is work is making 6x what I make. I feel hella stupid I couldnt even cry when I found out, i just laughed hysterically. I have been helping him for months to finish all his tasks still while doing the job of two persons. SMH I feel used. Yes he was well aware of the pay difference. No he doesn't have more qualifications or experience than I do.

She was agreeing the whole time, claiming “The thing I regret the most is having worked so much” (and to be honest she's been trying to change jobs for a while now – maybe trying to work for a NPO) So yes, if a marketing-director in Canada can learn about our ideas, it means…
