Instead of our usual yearly 5% raise, the company gave us all a 16% raise to keep the company competitive and beat the inflation rate. So at least for this year I expect we will have excellent employee retention

My boss is a very intimidating man. 6'4, 200 pounds and decades of experience. He has told people he's an asshole to work with. That's a lie. He's IMPOSSIBLE TO WORK WITH. I made a mistake. I got suckered
Today I found out the coworker I have been helping with is work is making 6x what I make. I feel hella stupid I couldnt even cry when I found out, i just laughed hysterically. I have been helping him for months to finish all his tasks still while doing the job of two persons. SMH I feel used. Yes he was well aware of the pay difference. No he doesn't have more qualifications or experience than I do.
