I came across a remote job opening on Linkedin that's offering a 60k salary which is good especially for people outside the US, and their requirement seemed reasonable. Sounds too good to be true? what's the catch you say? Well apparently, they want you to take a series of bullshit cognitive and skill assessments (in my case they say it should take about 2 HOURS) that you must pass, then if you get an offer, they want you to install a software that basically spies on you. It TAKES WEBCAM PICTURES of you, takes screenshots, records your keystrokes and mouse clicks ( according to them it “tracks the number of mouse clicks and keyboard presses. Note: this does not track what was typed”). This is how they're preying on desperate workers from low income countries. Honestly I didn't even think they would stoop this low. I applied to like 20+ jobs last week. This is the first email response I've gotten. Doesn't tell me the company, doesn't have an email signature, and the email subject line was so generic I wasn't even sure which position it was FOR. but sure. nobody wants to work anymore. that's totally the problem. https://preview.redd.it/f0eumfuk40l81.png?width=1381&format=png&auto=webp&s=471074b820ddb9f134849f06ec402f27ae70a8af

A horrific and magical time in which anything seems possible, for good or ill. In times like this it is easy to feel hopeless, to feel powerless, to feel alone. And when we are alone, all too often we are powerless, and things can end up hopeless.United though, there is power. United, there is hope. United, this horrific and magical times can be a moment in which we start building a more just and merciful world. For ourselves, for everyone. If you don't know where to start, start at the IWW.If you think you are alone, you won't be at the IWW. In times that feel hopeless, hope and effort is a defiant middle finger to…
What is the final goal of this movement?
Hello there. I will start of by saying that I am not very familiar with American politics, or its class systems. The subreddit came to my attention during its 5 minutes of international fame and I wanted to know if the ideals of the moderator in the interview reflects the members of this community? My questions are -is the server in favour of America being of the socialist bloc? -to what limit does it want working conditions reformed? and most importantly -does it want to achieve a society where work is abolished? If so how
