If you can quit, DO IT
I worked for a “woke” woman founded nonprofit org that promised better pay, unlimited vacation, insurance at no cost the the employee, and flexible hours. I thought I hit the jackpot. But, I quit last week. Why? Because their motto is “there is no work life balance because we are family”. Because the “culture” they promised me was a front. Because the vast majority of my coworkers were not in a position to quit and lose income. Because I was becoming a scapegoat for their own ineptitude. In the moments I was learning my 2 year old more than likely had Covid (4 classmates tested positive) and needed to be picked up from daycare immediately, my boss…

This seems like a good place to put this
Ok so I’ve applied to jobs as a writer and this one job says that they want someone who ideally has SEO experience. From what I understand it’s not too difficult for a tech savvy person like myself to get the hang of and utilize and there’s the fact that the company makes you go through it in their training anyway (source told me from inside the company). Now I’ve just lied and told them I have years of experience using SEO every now and then. Can any of you tell me what to say in order to sell them the idea that I know what I’m talking about when it comes to SEO’s? Because the manager I’ll be interviewing with is picky on it apparently. Cheers
