Small amusement. I had a disasterous day two weeks into my hotel job. My boss talked to me the next day and told me that I need to enlist help from housekeeping on days like that. I told her that's delegation, which is a management activity, and that she would have to pay me more if she wanted that. She looked so shocked that somebody has boundaries.

I saw another post recently here that made me realize that there may be some more other people struggling with this same issue Some background for me: Asked boss strictly for things regarding a personal conflict in the office and my own mental health be only be spoken about over email. After insisting he only discuss this with me via email, he refused multiple times and ended his last email by saying that he will be ignoring my emails regarding this in the future. Another incident was when I asked for clarification on something he was doing and why I needed to submit certain information to him. I asked him via email and got no response. Asked him in person and he gave me smack. Asked him to send an email clarifying what he had just told me, and he flat refused and walked away from me. I emailed him…
