I have read countless postings of people finally getting fed up with their employer and quitting. I beg you all to please start also reviewing these employers on sites such as Glassdoor.com. Provide an honest review so that potential employees will know what they are getting into. Once these companies start struggling to find good employees they will have to change their ways; not to mention their tarnished reputation won’t sit well with management, the board of directors, or investors if publicly traded. So rant here, but help the next person out and prevent someone else from having to put up with the crap you had to put up with.
“Anyone can be rich under capitalism”
stop this culture stigma..
adults vs kids.
Let's turn the void to say r / antiwork when it's big enough we can unite and write it. We can do this together.
Just what it says. If we could get it over the American flag that would send the biggest message, but there's too many “patriots” protecting that, so.. I think the bottom left corner would work. Upvote and repost!
Didn’t get my direct deposit paycheck
I get paid every week and I always submit my time card on-time. Friday I was supposed to get my paycheck (which is direct deposited). I never got it. This is the second time this has happened (always on the employers side). They said I should get it by Friday night – never did. I can’t afford to wait another week without getting paid, so what right’s do I have to get my paycheck?
need advice?
a company just hired me. did my background check, and drug screen. However, they have not given me any tax paperwork, or even asked for my direct deposit (it's a cnc machinist job not just landscaping for random people) i am scheduled to begin tomorrow. Should i politely decline till all of MY paperwork is in order? they were quick to do theirs, but are dragging their feet on mine.
