My friend has worked for a pottery studio making under my state’s minimum wage (NY, 15 dollars). She has been paid under the table for about seven years as essentially the only employee. She has handled all managerial duties as well as being effectively the entire retail/customer service staff. The studio is closing down in the next couple of days, so I was wondering if it was even worth it to file a complaint.
