Partner loosing our baby isn’t my emergency

Just had my boss tell me that when I approached he for a raise said I missed too much work recently, the thing is last my partner and I over the course of two weeks not only had to find out that we were expecting, something we didn’t think was possible, but that the baby hadn’t attached at all even though it was 8 weeks along, so we had to terminate our miracle baby. This killed me like I feel empty and hollow, and my partner is way worse than me, he is disabled due to some chronic illnesses Making it very difficult to hold a normal job, loosing our baby has completely taken away his sense of purpose. I need to able take care of my partner, he is more important than a job that makes me jump through hoops to get a dollar more than minimum wage in…

Edit: my partner is a non-binary transman, he had the miscarriage not me.
