Anyway, I’ve been working a job that has fewer than 25 employees in California for a while, so until then I was pretty up to date as far as wage law.
It wasn’t until February of this year that my original company got absorbed by a larger company. Knowing that now there would be more than 25 employees, I knew pay had to jump at some point.
I guess my question is, am I / my coworkers from the original employer entitled to back pay? If so, is there a deadline to have given us a raise that they met?
