pay you a fair price? that sounds like you know nothing.

Years ago, before the whole pandemic, I looked for a job with my brother. we found a place to work that was looking for people with no experience. (They paid in “white” that is in contract as we say in my country) In the interview everything went well, when we came back, My brother told me that he even negotiated the payment but said he would think about it. How much was the company willing to pay? Less than half the minimum wage, and we are not talking about a “small” company or just starting out, it was a company with branches in many countries, and in its best economic moment , when we got numbers it gave us negative numbers at the end of the month, literally it was not enough to reach half a month. We were able to message the interviewer and tell them that we appreciate their time but we couldn't take the job, their response?

“Okay. For a future. Think it's blank. And that you have no knowledge of any kind. I hope you find a job that meets all your needs and expectations. Luck.”

I honestly don't know how to feel about that. Was he trying to make him feel less? Currently he has a job that pays him well and better, but seriously, what did the interviewer mean?
