After casually reading through this sub I realised the first thing I should do is make my manager give the 2 people who report to me a pay rise. I said I want assurance that anyone reporting to me is paid at or above the median for similar roles in the country. Thankfully, he agreed and is now rolling it out for about 50 other people in other teams. Turned out to be a 20% pay rise for my ones so I’m fucken stoked. Hope you like to see that this sub has educated someone and turned it into something positive.
