Fast forward to 2022, and thing do not look pretty…

The average annual salary in America is now $53,924.

The average cost of ANY home, new and used, is $392,000.

This means that one has to work 7 years, 3 months, and 2 weeks to afford ANY home, both new and used.

And to add one final nail to the coffin, to show a general picture of just how bad other factors of the economy are;

70% of food stamp users are currently working full-time jobs.

We are currently experiencing an “eviction crisis” as millions of tenants across the country cannot afford to pay rent.

We are also experiencing worse inflation rates for longer periods of time than people during the 2008 crash were.

We are currently living in an age where we are worse off than people living in the most economically deprived era in US history, and that makes this period of time the new “most economically deprived era in US history”.
